Timers, schedules and rainfall
Set a three-hour rotation for spring grazing, schedule an opening like an alarm, or connect a suitable weather station and let the gate open itself when the rain starts.
It tells you what it sees
Latch, fence, battery, signal, position and alarms all report in regularly, so a low battery or a dead fence reaches you before it causes a problem.
